science activities: Working Groups

PAGES science structure is divided into Foci and Cross-Cutting Themes. Each of the Foci is divided into a number of Foci Themes, the goals of which are addressed by Working Groups (WG) that target specific aspects of the scientific scope with activities and programs. PAGES WGs are managed by a steering committee that directs the goals and activities of the WG.

Working Groups differ from Endorsed Projects in that the PAGES Scientific Steering Committee oversees their goals and direction, and is involved in key decisions and management.
