Responsibilities
Coordination of working groups, developing new scientific activities as well as for a lot of publishing tasks at the PAGES IPO (Newsletter, PAGES products, website contents).

Interests:
Reconstruction of paleolake communities and their environment.
Origin and paleobiogeography of the Antarctic freshwater fauna.
Biological responses to past variations in climate, at both a species and community level. How these communities have reacted to small-scale (i.e. salinity, ice cover, productivity, species introductions) and large-scale (glacial cycles, sea-level change, precipitation/evaporation) environmental change.
Effect of large-scale environmental processes on species evolution e.g. vicariance and dispersal events.
