We've been delighted to host Gisela Winckler from Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University, USA, as our visiting guest scientist over the last few weeks.
Gisela is the Co-Chair of our DICE working group, a group that addresses dust's impact on climate and environment. She has been busy progressing plans for the group's transient database, a resource designed to help us understand the link between aerosols, climate, dust, and circulation by synthesizing paleo reconstructions and modern observations. In addition, she's been making plans for the first DICE meeting, to be announced in the coming weeks.
