ECN people

The PAGES ECN was organized as a result of PAGES' 3rd Young Scientists Meeting (YSM), which took place in Spain in 2017.

In response to the astounding success of this and the previous YSM meetings, participants volunteered to form the steering committee to develop an Early-Career Network within the PAGES research community.

The steering committee is composed of PhD students and postdocs with a wide range of expertise and skill sets in many areas of paleosciences.

Active members

Working alongside the steering committee, active members from around the globe will be asked to contribute to the organisation of webinars, workshops, and participate in outreach events such as our ECN blog and our Twitter and Facebook accounts.

We seek participation among active members who are interested in acting as regional ECN representatives to facilitate the global integration of early-career researchers (ECRs) into the wider scientific community. To strengthen the position of ECRs within the PAGES working group community, members of the ECN steering committee will work with PAGES working group leaders to establish liaisons between the two groups.
