workshop proposal - open call
**This proposal form is for open call workshops only. It is NOT for workshops being organized by a PAGES Working Group.**
Workshops seeking PAGES support should meet a number of the following
criteria
if they are to be considered for funding:
- International participation
- Multi-disciplinary involvement
- Forward thinking and advancement of methods or ideas
- Synthesis, integration and coordination
PAGES support for Open Call workshops is usually US$3,000-$5,000 and never more than US$10,000 per workshop. It is typically allocated to support the travel costs of participants from developing and former eastern block countries or international scientists' attendance at meetings in developing countries.
