The "Emerging Applications of Data Assimilation in the Geosciences" workshop will be held at the Lorentz Center in Leiden, The Netherlands, from 13-17 March 2017.
Description
The goal of this workshop is to bring together experts on data assimilation, Bayesian statistics, seismology, and (paleo-)climatology to exchange knowledge, suggest new data-assimilation methods suitable for applications in each field, and to stimulate future collaborations. PhD students are especially encouraged to participate.
Registration
Registration is free and includes a welcome reception and a conference dinner. The number of participants is limited to 55. You will be notified whether your registration is accepted no later than January 2017.
