PAGES is a core project of the International Geosphere-Biosphere Programme (IGBP) and thus falls under the umbrella of the International Council for Science (ICSU). Although PAGES is not affiliated with other members of the Earth Science System Partnership—WCRP, IHDP and DIVERSITAS—we maintain strong science-driven ties with these organizations.

Financial support for PAGES comes primarily from matching contributions from Switzerland (SNF) and the USA (NSF and NOAA). Additional funding is provided by IGBP.
