There is no special institute or organization in Turkey dedicated to studying past climate processes in recent geological periods such as the Quaternary. Most studies are carried out by individual scientists or research teams at the geological engineering departments of universities. See the links to the left for more information.
We hope that these pages will generate interest in past and present global change research in Turkey and increase awareness of the importance of such research. |
